James Wilton Minor was born on November 23, 1958 to the late Termon Lee Minor and Ruth Nelson Gardner in Richmond, Virginia. He departed this life on October 30, 2021 at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

He attended schools in Hanover County, and worked in the trucking industry and was employed as a truck driver for most of his life.

James received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier, Virginia.

James, also known as ‘BayBoy’ and ‘Big T’, was a very friendly and gentle soul with a handsome smile and loving personality. He loved his family and friends and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was also a classic and muscle car enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother – Ronald Minor, his sisters – Ann M. Jefferson and Kymelyn Minor, his nephew – Termon L. Minor, III, and his beloved Kimmie Eicher.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother – Termon L. Minor, Jr. (Linda), Goochland, Va.; two sisters – Jacquelyn R. Minor, Chesterfield, Va., and Sandra M. Derricott (Lorenzo), Ashland, VA; four nieces – Monique, Monica, Shemika, and Krystal; three nephews – Lorenzo, Ronald, and Dominic; three great nieces – Gabrielle, Peyton, and Braelyn; one great nephew – Jaxon; devoted companion, Patsy Eicher; and many other devoted cousins, friends, and members of the community
