Ross was my friend, mentor and co-worker. He and I worked hard together but it never felt like a hard day because we were always laughing. He was quick with a joke and after he woke up, usually had a smile on his face. He was the friend that would help you, even if you didn’t ask for it. Ross had his demons for sure but his goal was always to get his children back and to put a roof over their heads. He was always proud of them and was always showing people his tattoos of them. When times got tough financially, Ross took it hard and his body prevented him from working the way he was used to. I will miss him and know he is at peace now. I wish the best for his family during these trying times.

Rest in paradise old friend! The memories from drinking at the rocks, swinging at the river, terrorising Southlawn streets, the endless parties at your house, the births of Tucker and Caitlynn and everything in between will always be with us all. Your memory will never be forgotten. Rest easy my friend.

I am so saddened to hear of Ross passing. My sister was best friends with Caitlynn growing up so we spent many great weekends together at her house. Ross was the “cool” dad without a doubt! He strapped us into harnesses and taught us how to “fly”. One of my favorite childhood memories is swinging on the Superman swing with Caitlynn and Elizabeth. I can’t begin to find words to express what I would like to tell Caitlynn, because they haven’t made words strong enough for this. She always has been one of the strongest people I know. I knew when it came to handling what life has continually thrown her way, even at such a young age. I’m sorry for your loss, Caitlynn.
