James (Jimmy) Leadbetter, 49 of Ashland Virginia passed away suddenly October 29, 2021. Jimmy had a heart of gold and was the kind of guy who never met a stranger.

He will be greatly missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father, Norris Leadbetter and his adoptive mother Elizabeth Long.

He survived by his wife Kathy Ledbetter, his sisters, Julia Blunt, BJ Cannon, Nora Cannon, nieces Delaney Leadbetter, Brittany Cannon, Tabitha Towner, Mariah Dalton, Makenzie Dalton, Makayla Dean, Heather Berry Shelton, nephew Trey Dean, Christopher Shelton, Josh Shelton, his mother Ann Leadbetter and a host of other relatives and friends.
