Ina Belle Morris was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
She was born on January 14, 1939, in Caroline County to the late Charlie Irvin and Hattie Coleman Morris. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles, Thurman, Claude and Luther Morris. She was educated in the Caroline County Public Schools. Ina accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Ina was employed at Dawn Elementary School as a secretary for a number of years. She later became employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia (Hanover Learning Center) in the position of Fiscal Accounting Secretary and retired after 37 years of employment.

Ina was a devoted and loving daughter to her parents. She was a caregiver for her mom and dad until they were called home to be with the Lord.
Ina had such a kind spirit and her smile could make you melt. She didn’t hesitate to help both family and friends when the need arose. Ina didn’t have any children of her own, but she was an Aunt/2nd Mother to many of her nieces and nephews. She had a “heart of gold”. She loved music and going out to eat and it was always her treat.
She loved her brothers Charles, Thurman, Claude and Luther and McArthur. They all had spoiled her and there was never a need or want that the brothers didn’t take care of for her. She loved to cook and bake desserts. When you visited her, she would always offer you a homemade meal, pie or cake and something to drink. It was seldom she took no for an answer. She would always treat you as if you were a king or queen.

She leaves to celebrate her transitioning to Heaven, a devoted brother McArthur Morris (Betty); sister in laws Irene and Phyllis Morris; nephews Thurman, Charles and Timothy Morris; two devoted Claude Jr. and Ronnie Morris; Nieces Careal Davenport, Delores Baker, Evelyn Childs, Phyllis Dabney and Patricia Spruell; two devoted Mary Coleman and Hattie Weatherless. Several great nieces and nephews, one devoted Nicholas Morris; several great great nieces and nephews, one devoted Shaun Morris. A host of other relatives and friends. One devoted Dorothy Slaughter and John Dunkin.
