George Leon Tyler born February 26, 1955 to Rosa Lee and the late Cleveland “Junie” G Tyler. Leon departed this life is life December 05, 2021 at his home in Glen Allen Virginia.

Leon attended the Hanover Public schools where he learned the trade of welding. He trained with J.E. Liesfield Construction and later found employment with the company. Leon worked with J.E. Liesfield Construction until his health began to fail.

Leon enjoyed fishing in his early years and had a great love for his family. Leon enjoyed family events such as family reunions. He also enjoyed talking to old friends and listening to old school music.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Rosa Lee Tyler Two brothers Ulysses Derricott of Manassas Virginia and James Tyler of Richmond Virginia. His sisters Rosa Newby, Beverly Tyler, and Emma Tyler of Richmond, Virginia. A devoted and loving sister who was also his caregiver Jacqueline Tyler of Glen Allen. One sister-in-law Tina Derricott of Manassas Virginia. A devoted nephew Eugene Tyler, his other nephews George Derricott, Jerry Tyler, Derrick Tyler and Merrick Tyler. His nieces Tiffany Derricott, Donetta Tyler, Chantel Tyler and Wanda Tyler. His aunts Marian Snead, Selena Coats, Barbara Word, Shirley Tyler, Mabel Tyler, Brenda Gordon and Mary Tyler.
