On September 30, 2023, Ernestine Waller a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away suddenly at the age of 68 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Fannie Bertrand, Sisters Plumey Terrell and Alberta Hicks, Brother William Bertrand and Uncle William Myers.

Ernestine will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend of 46 years Edward Waller JR., and their children, Edward III and Randall, granddaughters Elisha and Tamyra, and niece Lakisha. She will also be forever remembered by her brothers and sisters Ollie Bertrand (Barbara deceased), Sarah Nelson (Carroll), Lawrence Bertrand (Delores), and Annie Hoover. Ernestine leaves behind to cherish her loving memory numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, dear friends, extended family and church family.

Ernestine professed her life to Christ at an early age. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, ushering and cherished praising the Lord. She was a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends laughing, always wearing a huge smile on her face. Always thinking of others first, she was an absolute joy to be around “To know her is to love her.” Her presence even in memory forever leaves your heart filled with love, kindness, and comfort.
