Eric Darnell Washington departed his life on July 28. 2022 at Parham Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond VA. He was the youngest of three children born on April 11, 1970 in Caroline County to Marcie and Clarence Washington

Eric graduated from Caroline High School in 1988 and ECPI Technical College in 2002 where he studied Computer Electronics Technology. Eric worked at Accurate Courier Express for the last 12 years as a Class A CDL driver. Eric loved being a truck driver.

Eric had a deep understanding that material possessions were not the key to happiness. He was always his happiest spending time with his many friends and family. Add fresh air and good music and he was absolutely content. He loved being a father and was always there to support and cheer on his kids in all their many endeavors.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory and will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife , Tonya Washington; sons, Eric (EJ) Washington Jr. and Omar Washington; one daughter, Khamani Washington; mother, Marcie Washington; sister, Lisa Romaine (Alfred); nieces, Tiffany Romaine and Khaiah Dericho; nephew, Darien Romaine Sr.; great niece, Serenity Romaine; great nephew, Ezra Romaine-Tenney and Darien Romaine Jr.; mother-in-law, Lenora Chambers; Sister-in-law Keisha Chambers; aunts, Christine Edwards (Gus), Irene Morris, Blanche Jones (Leon), Emily Baylor, and Geneva Rollins; great aunt, Ruth Beverly; uncles, George Rollins, Leroy Rollins (Ladelle); great uncles, Freddie Washington (Loraine); devoted friends and Family Lorenzo “Flea” Harris, Calvin “Money” Smithers, Adriene Edwards, Crystal Cary, Ernest Rollins and a host of other friends and Family. Predeceased by his father, Clarence Washington and brother, Clarence “Randy” Washington.
