Our beloved Elontra “Lonnie” Rashida Harris, 30, entered eternal rest peacefully Monday, May 13, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born November 6, 1993 in Richmond, Virginia, a minute after her fraternal twin, Elon. As a micro-preemie, Elontra weighed one pound, nine ounces. Since birth, Elontra has brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of her parents, Nichole and Ray Robinson.
As an adolescent, Elontra accepted Christ as her personal savior at First Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Dawn, Virginia. She was a member of the Youth Usher Board and Choir. Elontra was a proud 2012 graduate of Caroline High School. In 2014, her family relocated to Douglasville, Georgia. In 2022, she became a member of Oxford Mount Zion Baptist Church in Ruther Glen, Virginia under the leadership of Bishop Duane T. Fields.
Elontra was a true queen! She loved a complete pampering experience including manicures, pedicures, and hair appointments at the beauty salon. In addition to pampering, Elontra loved her lip gloss! Her favorite pastimes were listening to music by Beyoncé and watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies.
We are certain that the indelible imprint that she has left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she lived. We will miss her beautiful smile.
She will be remembered forever by her loving parents, Nichole and Ray Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida; siblings, Tiaja (Jamar) Samuel of Villa Rica, Georgia, twin brother, Elon (Shaneice) Harris of Ruther Glen, Virginia, Nikia Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia; grandmothers, Carolyn Robinson of Ruther Glen, Virginia, Eveline Terrell of Jacksonville, Florida; two nieces, Corrine Samuel and Zolah Samuel of Villa Rica, Georgia; one nephew, Amaru Samuel of Villa Rica, Georgia; two uncles, Ronald Anderson of Hanover, Virginia, Tracey Fells; three aunts, Tawanda Anderson of Ashland, Virginia, Reavie Fox of Hanover, Virginia, Jasmin Smith of Richmond, Virginia; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
