Duane Marlow Wilson departed his life suddenly on November 7th 2022. Duane was born June 8th 1967 in Stafford County, Virginia to Pearlean Barnett Cook and the late Harvey Lee Wilson Sr.

Duane attended Stafford County Public School where he excelled in basketball and trophies are still on display. Duane’s hobbies included fishing and playing Bid Whist and fellowshipping with family and friends. He was also a die-hard 49ers fan.

Duane leaves to cherish his memory; His mother Pearlean B. Cook of Stafford County VA, his life partner Joanne Boutchyard of 26 years of Stafford County VA, his children Duante Brown of Maryland, Dejaun Mercer of Fredericksburg VA, Bryant Tyler Jackson of Stafford County VA, Makenzie Wilson who was daddy’s little girl of Stafford County VA. Three brothers; Ronnie Barnett (Betty) of Stafford County VA, Wilbert Barnett of Stafford County VA, Harvey Lee Wilson II of Locust Grove, VA. Two sisters; Mary Wilson ( Jesse) of Spotsylvania VA, Marsh, Marsh Hawkins of Stafford County VA. Aunt Edith Washington of Waldorf MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A very special friend of the family and Marlow’s best friend, Harvey Moody of Georgia. Additionally, a few other close friends to mention; Maurice Fortune of Fredericksburg, VA and Jason Wilson (cousin) of Fredericksburg, VA.

Duane was preceded in death by his fathers Harvey Lee Wilson Sr. and Norman Cook. Grandparents Rayfield and Geneva B. Barnett and Mary Cook. Two Uncles; Raymond Barnett and Curtis Lee Barnett.
