Whereas, our friend and sister in Christ, namely, Sister D. Elaine Carrington confessed her love for God at an early age and throughout her life devoted a sincere obedience to God: And Whereas, the departed was a humble woman. She aided many in her lifetime without complaint: And Whereas, the passing of the deceased has left us deeply saddened, she will be missed but not forgotten: And Whereas, the words of Jesus in John chapter 14, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that were I am, there ye may be also.” Therefore, be it resolved.
