Donte Lorenzo Taylor entered into his eternal resting place Saturday April 9, 2022. He was born September 25, 1988 to William and Debora Taylor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Barbara Pryor, Horace Jackson and William Taylor. Great-Grandparents Sarah and Clyde Pryor, Amanda and James Houchens, and James Jackson.

Donte accepted Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age and was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Montpelier, Virginia. He was a graduate of the City of Richmond Public School System and a manager at McDonalds.

Donte was well known and loved throughout the community. As an adult, he adopted Christopher (Deborah) Shelton, Cassandra (Ercell) Williams, and Tiesha (Rodriquez) Pleasants as his Godparents. Donte loved to sing, dance and eat!

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother Debora Taylor, father William Taylor, stepfather Dallas Thomas, brothers Derek and Darryl Taylor, niece Dynasia Taylor, and nephew Derek Taylor, Junior. Grandparents Ethel (Gladys) Taylor and Annie Jackson. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Devoted aunts Sheila Pryor, Valerie Pryor and Marion Jackson. Devoted cousins Tiesha Pleasants and Felicia Woodson. Devoted friends Sierra Johnson and Cassandra Williams.
Donte loved unconditionally and will be missed by all who knew him.
