David attended Bowling Green Elementary School in Caroline County and graduated from Lee Davis High School in Mechanicsville, VA.

A TIME TO LOVE:
He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Cooking was his pastime. His special dishes were pork chops and gravy and seafood salad.

A TIME TO BE RESPONSIBLE:
David has been employed with the following companies: McDonald’s and Randolph Macon College as a cook. Food Lion as a Customer Service Manager.

A TIME TO MOURN:
David leaves a legacy of love and memories for his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted mother and father, Sharon Moore and Benford Gwathmey. Siblings: Michelle Gwathmey; Kenneth Gwathmey, Benford Gwathmey, Jr., and Lamon Johnson. Devoted Grandmother, Elizabeth Moore; devoted friend, Damaris Roberson; four aunts; three uncles and a host of relatives, cousins and friends.
