To the Family of Darryl Walker. While unable to visit with you physically; know that you are continually in my prayers. I was saddened by the news of Darryl’s passing. Darryl’s quiet clippers got JJ over the hump. It was a struggle before then to get his hair cut. My love, prayers and condolences to you all. Cousin Gert

Life is so precious and we take it for granted sometimes. I wish I had got to see you more in my adult life. Rest in paradise and give my dad a big hug from me and Bobby!

Darryl my heart is broken over your transition, and I will miss you for sure. You’re one of the kindest and most thoughtful gentlemen I have ever met. You were kind to children and respectful to the elderly. We often talked about if ppl would just get along and be fair to each other, how much better this world would be. Now you have finally reached the place that was created for special ppl like you. Welcome Home To Heaven my friend. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared ppl. Rest In Peace my brother. Al Brandon Jr.

God Bless you Mr.Walker. I was new to Richmond in 2008. A stranger over heard me talking about getting a haircut. I was referred to Mr. Walker in Ashland. He never made me feel like stranger. Thank goodness for your skills because I was sick of long hair. My short cut looked so good even men were me asking me, “Who cut your hair! “ Blessings to your Family.?

When people speak of Montpelier Legends, Darryl was the type of person that exemplifies what that means. Darryl was a true friend who was loved by so many and would help anybody in need. I will miss him forever as we shared much conversation as he would cut my hair and whenever I would see him out. I never thought that the week before Christmas would be my last time to talk to him. Godspeed my Brother. We truly loved you “Legend”!
