Damari Lamon Peatross,18, of King William County VA departed this life surrounded by love ones after a long battle of illness at VCU Medical Center in Richmond VA. He preceded in death by his sister Shaylla Peatross, maternal grandmother Cynthia Edwards, both paternal grandparents Lewis and Shirley Peatross and two uncles Curtis Peatross and Alphonso Edwards Jr.

Damari was a humble, loving and kind young man who always kept a bright smile on his face even throughout his illness. He had an unconditional love for his family and friends. He always found it hard to turn away from anyone in need. Damari loved listening to music, dancing, attending family cookouts and going on family vacations. He was a diehard Washington Commanders fan. He loved talking trash about football even after losing a game, especially with Dallas Cowboys fans. The only person he couldn’t handle coming in contact with after losing a game was his aunt Catherine; she would always get the best of him.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his parents Daryl and Alesia Peatross, his brother Daryl Peatross Jr., his grandfather Alphonso Edwards Sr., two aunts Stacy (Lance) Jennings and Danisha Edwards and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. One best friend/cousin Alphonso Edwards III and devoted Uncle and Aunt Derrick and Miranda Spurlock.
