Cynthia “Cindy” Hill Legette departed this life peacefully on July 4th, 2020. She was the fourth oldest child born to Roye and Mary Hill on November 12, 1962 in Caroline County, Virginia, where she attended public schools. She was married to the late Lamar Legette of Mullins, SC.

Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Second Mt Zion Baptist Church. She was employed by Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia for over 21 years, where she was the Commissary Supervisor. She loved her job and took much pride in it. She treasured the many relationships and friendships gained while employed there.

Unlike the rest of the Hill kids, Cindy was very quiet and laid back. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking big meals and sharing them with family and friends. Much like her daddy, she loved to dance. She was known to get the party started. Cindy was very photogenic and would stop at any moment to take a picture. She loved to shop and was known for her sense of style and fashion.

Cynthia was a loving Mother, NaNa, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Godmother, Cousin and Friend. She always wore a smile and had a heart of gold. She leaves to cherish her memory: A loving son, Conta Hill of Danville, KY, one grandson, Kemontae Hill of Henrico, VA; two sisters, Connie Hill and Stacy (Tyrone) Scott; three brothers, Craig (Anita)Hill, Wayne Hill and Brinton Hill; four nephews, Lamont Phillips, Brinton(Cristina) Hill, Donavan Hill, Jordan Winston; four nieces, Tiffany Berkeley, Crystalynn and Brittney Hill, Zazmen Greene; three great nephews, Jaylyn, Michael and Aylan; one great niece, Aniya; one godson, McCartha Stevens; two goddaughters, Vienne Baylor and Erica Fobbs; four aunts, Blondie Hunter, Florene Thompson, Pearline Stevens, Fannie Hill; one uncle, George (Joyce) Hill; and a host of other relatives and friends, amongst them a devoted cousin, Mona Thomas and a special friend, Carnell Hence.
