Cynthia Edwards was born in Dawn Va on May 27,1957 to the late Clarence and Carrie Rollins.

Cynthia, also known by many as Cindy, gave her life over to Christ at an early age, at Second Mt Zion Church. She loved spending time laughing with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, listening to music, crocheting, and taking vacations with her family. She was a very loving sweet person who always welcomed anyone into her home with open arms making them feel right at home.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her son Alphonso Edwards Jr, and her parents Clarence and Carrie Rollins.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her devoted husband Alphonso Edwards Sr., three daughters Stacy Jennings(Lance), Alesia Peatross(Daryl), and Danisha Edwards, ten grandchildren Quataijah Edwards, Lance Jennings Jr., Daryl and Damari Peatross, Alphonso Edwards III, Destiny Edwards, Jayden Smith, Chance and Chase Moore, and Jabari Armistead, two sisters Carrie Mills, and Alice Myers(Edwards), two brothers Clarence Rollins Jr., and Thomas Rollins, five aunts Bessie Washington, Irene Morris, Blanche Jones(Leon), Emily Baylor and Marcy Washington, one uncle Leroy Rollins(Lydell), 12 sister-in-laws, 11 brother-in-laws, one God daughter Ashllee Spurlock, two dear friends Teresa Sayles and Ann Spurlock. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
