Candida Rosa Villatoro de Reyes of Dale City, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2020 at 4:30PM.

She was born in Anamorós, a municipality in La Unión, department of El Salvador on September 05, 1931 to the late Miguel Angel Villatoro and Santos Ventura. She was a domestic housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and four children: Pedro Pablo Reyes, Concepcion Reyes, Santos Reyes, and Maria Reyes. She is survived by her seven children: Juana Reyes, Maria Andrea Reyes, Maria Calletana Reyes, Miguel Angel Reyes, Santos Marina Reyes, Angel Alexis Reyes, and Martha Lidia Reyes. She leaves to cherish her memories, twenty-one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.

Memories

In El Salvador on the farm, she worked cultivating crops and was also known merchant. She was known to be a respectable and loving mother who in her spare time, devoted her life to her Catholic faith and children. Candida Rosa lived her life to the fullest with a joyful heart and a tenacious spirit that never gave up on her dreams. She was a member of the Catholic Church of San Pablo, in San Miguel, El Salvador, during her early years and engaged in many activities. In John 11:25–26 Jesus said to her, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE!” Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
