Our husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Brian Seair Lewis (affectionately known as Brian Mack Man Lewis) went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2022.
Brian was born on August 8, 1986 to the late Clinton L. Lewis and Mavis T. Lewis in Richmond, VA. At the age of 7, Brian joined Oxford Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Christopher Lee. He served as an usher at Oxford and sang in the C.C. Lee Inspirational Choir. Brian attended Louisa Elementary School and moved to Henrico County Public schools. Brian was very talented and attended trade schools to obtain certificates and licenses. He has been employed at Kjellstrom & Lee, at KBS Construction, and at Taylor and Parrish. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union. He and his wife owned Lewis Home Improvement, LLC.
Brian was united in matrimony to Jessica Hogan on May 3, 2009. They had been high school sweethearts and together 24 years. Brian enjoyed fishing, carpentry, woodworking, cooking, playing pool, playing poker, and cutting grass. He was a loyal, loving, and kind person who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Brian was predeceased by his dad, Clinton L. Lewis; grandfather, Cecil W. Terrell; grandparents, Lonnie T. Sr. and Flora L. Lewis; aunts, Karen Fox and Durcellia Baylor; and father and mother-in-law, Charles W. Hogan Jr and Dawna J. Prather Hogan. He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving and devoted wife, Jessica H. Lewis; son, Elijah Lewis; daughter, Naomi Lewis; two sisters, Ashley Bosket (Lenard) and Lecia Newton (Tyrone); niece, Tatiana Newton; loving and devoted grandmother, Addie S. Terrell; aunts, Sonya E. Gregory (Gordon), Debra Britt, Pamela Lewis, Wanda Lewis, Valerie H. Green, and Corithia Williams; uncles, Walter Terrell (Jennie), Kirk Terrell, Kenny Baylor, and Herman Stevens; devoted sisters-in-law, Dawna and Tammy Hogan (Charles – deceased); brothers-in-law, Malcolm H. Young, Nicholas Hogan, and Alexander Hogan; devoted friends, Corey, Darnell, Jamar, Chris, Keith, Tremaine, Avery, and Lamont; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Special aunts include – Judy, Vern, and Lil.
