Bernadette (Detta) Francine Morris age 57 of Richmond Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 7 A.M.. She was born on September 1, 1964 in Richmond Virginia and was the daughter of Bertha Gattison and Robert Greene (deceased).

Detta received her education in the Richmond Public School system she was gainfully employed at Dominion Power in Henrico County. She thoroughly enjoyed the job, they turned her loose and she was one of the best employees ever. They accepted her as their own.

Detta accepted Christ and an early age and joined First Baptist Church South Richmond and later moved her membership to Trinity Baptist Church. Detta was interested in singing in the choir now, she has joined the heavenly choir.

Her favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, Rocko (her dog) praising the Lord and reading scriptures, don’t mention gospel songs.

Detta was preceded in death by her grandson Yuriah Morris her precious sister Jaime her father Robert Green, grandmother and grandfather Eugene and Beatrice Morris.

To cherish fond memories are one son, Wayne Everett Morris, mother Bertha Morris Gattison, stepfather James Gattison, sister Towanda Green, three aunt’s Alice Morris, Louise Pleasants and Gloria Morris three niece’s Briana, Khin, Caleah one nephew Joshua a host of other relatives and friends.
