On March 12,1925 a little girl was born to Theodore and Rosalie Lomax.She was named Barbara Elaine Lomax.She was born and raised in Fauquier County, Virginia.

She was formerly educated in Fauquier Public schools system.Her higher education was at Virginia Union University.

She accepted the Lord as a very young child and was baptized as a Christian.Through out of her life she was baptized x 2.Being the oldest of 9 children she helped her parents with her other siblings until she went to college.

She met her husband Robert Marshall in college and they were married on August 17,1947
Eight children were born out of that loving union.

She worked in the health care field for the City of Richmond were she retired.She was a dedicated health care worker and was commended on several occasions.
She was a dedicated wife and mother and grandmother.
Her entire life was devoted to her husband and children.

She is preceded in death by her parents,Theodore and Rosalie Lomax, husband , Robert Marshall and her son Roland Marshall,3 brothers and 2 sisters..She leaves to cherish her life ,7 children, Norville (Carolyn) , Cullen(Vivian), LynnLee(Carolyn), Kelvin (Siree) , Melissa (William), Rosalia, Linda,19 grandchildren,21 great grandchildren,1 great great grandchild , her brother Rollie Lomax, sisters , Gladys Thompson and Hope Ball and multitudes of nieces and nephews and other friends.
