Aubrey Lee Harris was the youngest of five boys born to the late Wynda Harris, Sr. and the late Lottie Peatross Harris on December 21, 1939. He departed this life on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Memorial Regional Medical Center.

He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was Baptized into the fellowship of First Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Aubrey was a faithful and loyal member and a very dedicated trustee. He also sang on the Male Chorus. He dearly loved his church. Aubrey attended Caroline County Public School, he graduated from Union High School.

He was united in marriage to the late Elizabeth Ann Harris on October 27, 1962. To this union four children were born, two of whom preceded him in death.

Aubrey was a devoted and caring father. He loved his family. He was a hard worker. He worked at various places. His first job was at Jefferson Manufacturing Company. When this company went out of business, he got a job at Wonder Bread Bakery. He also got jobs for two of his nephews and many of his friends. He was the top person in his department. He trained all the new workers to operate the wrapper machines. He was even sent to New Jersey to train workers. He worked in New Jersey several years. While there he met some new friends. Their friendship continued until his death. Aubrey retired from Wonder Bread Bakery after working there for more than thirty-five years. He then drove the school bus for Caroline County for nineteen years. He also worked at Owens Funeral Home. Aubrey especially enjoyed time spent traveling, including trips to Mexico, Aruba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Dominion Republic Puerto Rico, Honolulu, Hawaii and many other states.

Aubrey leaves to cherish his memories two devoted children, Chandelle (Boo-Boo) Harris and Shawn Harris (fiancée LaTonya Blakes); four grandchildren, Shatia Harris, Tiaja Samuel (and grandson-in-law, Jamar Samuel); Zyon Harris and Shawn Harris, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Corrine Samuel and Zolah Samuel; numerous nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews; a loving and caring life companion, Cathy Harris; two sister-in-laws Harriet Harris and Joyce Harris; two devoted friends Mr. and Mrs. George Jackson; a host of other supportive relatives and friends.
Extended family, Simona, Dr. Matasha, Dennis (Darlene), Quavion and Mya Harris.
