Amanda Deboris McGruder was born on January 3rd, 2005, at the Medical College of Virginia. She was blessed with two mothers, Angela Fife and Jennifer Henderson and Father Robert Taylor.

Amanda also known as Emma, joined Bethany Baptist Church and was baptized on April 14th, 2013, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Patrick Jones. She was an active member at the church, as a young girl you would see her sitting on the left side of the church on most Sundays with her grandmother, Amanda was a member of the Youth Usher board, the Praise dance team and would help on the hospitality committee whenever needed.

Amanda attended Hanover County Schools and this year would have been her senior year. She was a member of the Patrick Henry step team. She enjoyed playing youth softball with the Lady Hoos and the Dream Crushers.

Amanda was currently employed by McDonalds. She would greet her customers with her big, beautiful smile and her energetic personality.

Amanda leaves to cherish her memories her mothers Jennifer Henderson, Angela Fife and Father Robert Taylor, three sisters Brittany, Brianna and LaChelle’, a niece (Casey) and nephew (Caleb) that she adored; two grandmothers Ursell Henderson and Charmagne Alexander. A God sister Kendra Johnson and God brother Tyrique Henderson, a host of aunts, great aunts, uncles, great uncles, cousins and friends; four devoted friends Jasmine Jones, McKenzie Winston, Francheska Roman and Zakyra Tillman.
