Alice B. Woody, 75, was born in Hanover County, Virginia on July 15,1945 to the late Henderson and Orange Mallory. Alice entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2021.
Alice was one of seven children. She was educated in Hanover County Public Schools and graduated from John M. Gandy High School. Alice accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier, VA.
Alice was employed in the administrative office of National Linen Service before becoming a Stay-At-Home Mother which she loved. Jackson 211 Chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars.
Alice loved God faithfully and taught her children about God’s unconditional love. She had to have her morning breakfast and her daily serving of Soap Operas. Alice loved a collection of movies, music, dancing as well as writing poetry. She loved to talk about the importance of education and current affairs. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was the most important part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister Vella Wyatt. She was joined in holy matrimony to Clarence T. Woody Jr. and from this union she leaves to cherish four children Alicia W. Green (Dariel), Clarence T. Woody III (The Late Sheronda), Bridgette W. Farmer (Avery) and Carla T. Woody. Nine grandchildren, Alesia, Camille, Balaija, Briana, Taylor, Ariel, Jeremiah, Calleigh and Charley. Two great grandchildren, Nazay and Ameiah.
