ALLEN’S FINAL SAY

Entering Heavens’ Gates
Allen Christopher Brice retired into Heaven on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at his residence after his courageous battle with Cancer. Allen joined those whom preceded him in death; his daughter Contina Scott, his devoted Uncle Johnie Grooms, and his Mother-in-Law Ludie Ann Thompson, who loved cooking for him and watching him eat.

A Time to Be Born
Allen was born February 07, 1960 to the late Allen J. Brice, SR and Sarah Grooms, both who preceded him in death. Allen joined ST Thomas Baptist Church on November 11, 2006. He loved his family, friends, the Washington Redskins, and all children. Some of his favorite things to do were; dancing, cooking out and spending time with his Wife. Allen worked several jobs during his life time, his last employer J.B. Hunt was a job that he loved; he even had his own Trucking Business at one time.

A Time to Unite

Allen met and married his true love; his Honey; his Baby Doll, whom he married and shared 20 years with until his passing. Allen leaves many precious memories for all to cherish. He leaves; his loving and devoted Wife Shirley; 3 loving Daughters Alexis, Ashley, and Alexandra Brice; 2 Sons Ellis (Nedra) Jackson, Paul Scott (Shanelle); 5 Sisters Joan Brice, Shelia (Leonard) Morton, Conseylania (Douglas) Passley, Michelle Brice (Eric), Linda (Rodney) Eziar; 3 Brothers Gregory (Karen) Brice, Robert (Susanne) Brice and Andre (Melody) Coffee, who was also his best friend. Allen also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends; to include a devoted Aunt Evelyn Grooms, 2 devoted cousins Pamela Quarles and Shenda Allen; 11 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Sister-in-laws Ludie Lynette, Tiffany and Helen Thompson; and 2 Brother-in-laws Herbert and Otis Thompson. Allen also leaves a very special and devoted Aunt and Uncle William and Mary Jackson.
