On Friday, May 5, 2017, Jesus said “Come Home my son” and he did. Carlton was born in Hanover, Virginia on March 26, 1950 to the late George Colton and Rose Ella Robinson. He grew up and attended school in Hanover, Virginia. Carlton accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Abner Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

It was never a question of what one could do for him, but what he could do for someone else. Carlton spent his life doing what he loved most, backhoe work and driving a tandem dump truck.
Carlton leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted and loving wife Tina Robinson, loyal and faithful son C. O. Robinson, granddaughter Tityana Robinson, sister Rosetta Jones, brothers James (Sandra) and Ellis (Aqua) Robinson, devoted Aunt Maude Alice Jones, Aunt Elsie Roberts, Godchildren Krystal Winston & Donald Jonathan III, devoted cousin Sam Robinson, loyal friends Jerome & Donna Hughes, caregiver Serena Wilkerson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
