Obituary

Ralph Waldron Jordon, (affectionately known as Brother and Uncle Brother), beloved son of the late Roy and Mary Jordon, departed this life on January 9, 2017. He was born July 24, 1940 in Dahlgren, Virginia.

Ralph accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age at Little Ark Baptist Church. He was educated at Ralph Bunche High School and was a graduate of Virginia Union University. After college, Ralph enlisted and served honorably for four years in the Navy. After completing his tour of duty, he went to work at the Washington DC Superior Court System, as Branch Chief of the Landlord and Tenants Department. Upon his retirement, he moved to Melbourne, Florida. Ralph became a member of the Freedom Christian Center, in January 2003. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the prayer ministry, greeters ministry, men’s ministry and prophetic ministry. He truly loved his church and his Pastor Rev. Tim Franklin.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Mary Jordon, brother Charles (Oop) Jordon, and sister Margaret (Sue) Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories a sister Martha (Liza) Chin, two nephews Trustee Tony Johnson (Michele) and David Jackson. Six Nieces Laurie Bland (William), Mildred Johnson-Branham (Brett), Tracey Baylor (Tony), Tequila Ennis, Kelley Cooper (William), Roni Peyton (Tracy), a host of great nieces, nephews and Godson Rev. Kenneth Hanes.
